Walk On : You heard Hit-Boy before, now hear about him.

Since 2007 Hit-Boy has been in the mainstream league, as a producer.
But like many producers (mainstream to underground), most people
don't tend to put a face the actual beat they hear their favorite rapper on.
Hit-Boy's production "singles" would be Drop The World by Lil' Wayne feat. Eminem,
Goldie by A$AP Rocky, and Niggas in Paris by Kanye West & Jay-Z, but these past
few months he's been putting more into his rap career (which he says was his first plan)
earlier this summer he released the song (and video) "Jay-Z Interview
which got his name out "formally". Yesterday he released his first actual project "HITstory"
on Datpiff which features Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Chip Tha Ripper, John Legend,
and veteran rapper Bun B. Hit-Boy also signed to Kanye West's label GOOD Music earlier this spring.
So far Hit-Boy has done a pretty good job with his rap career. Personally, I think
if he can balance between rapping and producing he could be the next Swizz Beats later on down the line in his career.

Top Dog : Lloyd Banks & his 2nd Hunger For More on The 2nd Cold Corner with V.6 : The Gift

Lloyd Banks has pretty much been the second-in-line for G-Unit (like Drake is with the current Young Money) since day one. With the decline in G-Unit as an actual rap group, Banks has managed to keep at a steady pace while remaining mainstream. His 2010 single Beamer, Benz, or Bentley (feat. Juelz Santana) kept his name afloat during the same summer Young Money had been rebuilt.
The Cold Corner 2 dropped in 2011, which didnt get much promo before (or even after) its release. If this was done on purpose, then I think this was a smart move on Banks' part. No one really saw it coming, when it dropped it sent a loud subliminal message that said (to me at least) "Yea I'm still around, but now I'm right here." This message echoed and had people on the lookout for
V.6 :  The Gift which started promo on DatPiff late winter of this year.
Banks' recent mixtape has a few more collabs with other artists (Young Chris, Vado, Faboulous, & ScHoolboy Q) compared to The Cold Corner 2 (Styles P, Prodigy, & A$AP Rocky). Banks still keeps his projects mostly "lone wolf". This seems to be putting out the message that he really intends to move on with his solo career, along with not actually having 50 Cent on his tracks. There has also been news of a Gangsta Grillz edition mixtape in the future. While most rappers his age would have "fell off" with the decline of the group they had been identified with for most of their career, Banks' used it as a spring board for his own solo career. The fact that he's going solo but still keeping the ties he has to 50 Cent, Fabolous, and Jim Jones along with the collabs with newer artists like Vado, ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky shows he has a pretty solid chance to stay up. Who knows? Maybe in a few years he'll start up his own version of MMG.

Rock The Meme : (Drake) vs. (Chris)

This meme is about the Drake/Chris Brown "beef".
You should now something about it by now, if not then go on World Star (this article will be here when you come back). Drake & Chris took shots at each other on recent tracks in the past months, I noticed
both had done so as featured artists on another "Bout Dat Life" rapper's track.

"We don't dress alike, we don't rap alike
I shine different, I rhyme different
Only thing you got is some years on me
Man fuck you and your time difference"
-Drake in Pop That by French Montana

"A fuck nigga, that’s that shit I don’t like
They throwin’ bottles, I’m throwin’ models
Just ’cause I give a bitch long pipe
Doing shows on the soccer field, that’s dome right?
I be singin’, he be singin’, so it’s on sight
But hold up, I ain’t give a nigga no green light
This head up, my bread up, one-on-one, what you scared, bruh?
Matter fact, take care bruh, you a pussy nigga
My nigga Tunechi, yeah that nigga nice
Shout out to Nicki, man that ass tight
Them eyebrows, man, them shits is yikes
O-V-O, you overdosed, screamin’ YOLO no, I live twice."
-Chris Brown in I Don't Like Freestyle by Game

I think Drake and Chris (and rappers like them) should be the ones actually making diss records. Neither claim to be (or have been) "bout dat life". So they should really be the ones "using their words" to settle their differences.
